My order showed up and, actually, let me start over. I got the wrong filament, and one of the spools was missing too. Frustrating since it’s not what I paid for.

I tried using this over a few days on different prints, and I just couldn’t get it to stick properly to my bed. At first I thought it was my settings, but even after tweaking things and trying again the next evening, the corners kept curling up every single time. Frustrating because I never got a clean print out of it.

I’m kind of split on this filament. On one hand, it actually printed well for me and I didn’t have any major issues with the results. On the other hand, the smell was way stronger than I expected. I opened the windows and could still notice it hanging around in the room for a while. So I liked how it printed, but I also don’t really want to use it indoors again unless I have much better ventilation

I tried the sample pack hoping it would give me a better idea of what to choose, but it did not help much. It was okay to have, just not as useful as I expected.

I was checking out Proto-pasta because I’ve heard the name around, but I’ll be honest, I didn’t feel great about actually placing an order.
The website and product info felt a little light to me, like they were kind of expecting customers to just assume everything would be fine. I couldn’t really find enough reassurance about what happens if there’s an issue or if something needs to be returned.
Maybe plenty of people have had good experiences with them, but I just didn’t get that same confidence. For filament, I’d rather go with a brand that makes things feel more straightforward and dependable

I really wanted this to work, but this spool gave me nothing but headaches. It kept clogging over and over, and the prints came out super rough no matter what I tried. I even messed with the temps a bunch, but nope, still baaaddd results. For the price, I expected way better. I definitely won’t be buying this again.

I bought one spool of this and every print came out with this dull, uneven surface that just looked off. I used the same settings I normally use with my other PLA and those prints turn out fine, so I don’t think it was my setup. Maybe I got a bad spool, but it was frustrating and I don’t feel like it was worth the price

It printed fine at first, but some of the parts started cracking way sooner than I expected. Kinda frustrating because I thought it would hold up better

I really wanted to like this filament, but the color selection got on my nerves fast. A bunch of the shades I actually needed were either out of stock or just not available at all. The colors they do have seem fine, but there just aren’t enough options for the projects I’m working on. I don’t want to keep waiting around for basic colors, so I hope they add more soon.

I’m not sure if it was just me, but the return process felt confusing from the start. I followed the steps as best I could, but there wasn’t much clarity, and then the refund took way longer than I expected to show up. I get that returns can take time, but this felt excessive, right?

I bought this fancy little “heat-resistant” filament thinking it would hold up better than regular stuff.

In my setup, it softened up and the part started losing its shape, which was frustrating. Maybe I was expecting too much from this miracle material, but after paying extra, I definitely expected more.
I wouldn’t buy it again for anything that’s going to sit anywhere near heat.

I contacted support about my order, and the replies came kind of slow. They were nice enough, but the answers didn’t really tell me much, if that makes sense. In the end I still had to figure out most of the order stuff myself, which was a bit frustrating.

I ordered a spool from Proto-Pasta, and it picked up moisture way faster than I expected. Because it sat in a regular room for just a short time, my prints started getting stringy and there was a lot of popping during printing. I tried drying it, and that helped a little, but it still didn’t print the way I hoped. For the price, I expected it to hold up better, so I’m frustrated

I picked this filament because the color on the website looked really bright and nice, but the spool I got is a lot more dull and muted. It still prints fine, so I guess it’s not completely bad, but also the color was kind of the whole reason I bought it, so that makes it feel like a miss. Maybe it’s just the lighting in the photos or my room or something, but either way it doesn’t really match what I expected. Disappointing.

I reached out to support the replies took way too long. What made it more frustrating was getting transferred from one person to another and having to explain the issue again. It didn’t feel like anyone was really taking ownership of it...

I’m not 100% sure if it was the filament or just my setup, but my prints kept splitting between layers. I tried adjusting the temps and slowing things down a bit, and it still didn’t really improve for me...

I really wanted to like this filament, but the way the spool was wound made it a headache. It kept crossing over itself and snagging mid-print, so instead of just letting the printer run, I felt like I had to babysit it the whole time.

For the price, I expected better. Support basically came back with something like “try keeping an eye on the feed” and “make sure it’s not tangled,” which didn’t really help when the spool itself was the problem. Maybe the actual material prints fine, but sloppy winding ruins the experience. I’m not planning to buy from Proto-Pasta again.

I tried to place an order, but the checkout kept freezing on me, and then when I refreshed, my cart looked different than before. I’m not sure if it was just a glitch on my end or what, but it was frustrating. Entering the shipping info felt kind of annoying too. After a few tries, I just gave up. Maybe other people have better luck, but for me, it wasn’t a great experience.

I was hoping to find a wider variety of special materials. What’s there is okay, but I kept feeling like I might be missing something or that more options should be available. It would be nice to have a bit more variety so it feels clearer that you’re getting everything you need.

I regret not looking into the printing side more before getting this. I had to mess with the settings a lot, and even after all that tweaking, the prints still came out messy. It ended up being more frustrating than I expected.
